The Decaying Barn and It's Counterpart

Yesterday, a particular gentleman asked to draw an impressionist painting of my photo standing with a decaying barn. Of course I said "yes", and much to my surprise he had already finished by this morning!

I love seeing paintings done from real life and comparing, such as this... I suppose it helps being part of the subject matter, but it's just fascinating to me, seeing through the other person's perspective!

i love it. esp because they are the same scene esentially but the feeling in them are so different. his is a little dark and stormy and yours is bright and sunny. it's great!!! :)

One might associate the word "Koi" with a beautiful fish, but yet another meaning for the word, is "love"; a deep and passionate love, perhaps, like my passion for vintage-style.
